If you tour the area around Kumkoy & Side you will see many different types of Turkish Holiday complexes but the principal characteristics seldom vary, these are:-
Closely packed self catering holiday apartments overlook other apartments, pools vary in size but are usually of average dimensions, facilities vary but usually include an outdoor pool, perhaps some pool table and usually have a standard TV with average size gardens.
However Four Seasons is definitely the exception to this norm.
1.The local planning restrictions in Ilica meant that Four Seasons had to have apartment blocks which were spaced far wider apart than any other complex completed to date.
2.Imagine a Turkish holidays site where you can totally unwind in peaceful surroundings away from the madding crowds, free from jostling people and large queues, able to swim properly without fear of collision, a place where you can use 5 star facilities without buying admission tickets or long waits for facilities to be free, where you can stay in comfort all the year round with heated pools and spa for the winter months and only 30 minutes from many Championship Golf Courses, yes there’s all this and more at Four Seasons holidays development in the Antalya region of Turkey.
3.Its location just a few minutes free bus ride away from the exciting restaurants and nightlife to be found in the beautiful resorts of Side and Kumkoy and just a few kilometres from a town the size of Bedford i.e. Manavgat make it an ideal base for Turkish self catering holidays.
4. Also it is just an hour away from the major city of Antalya where in addition to the normal water sports of parasailing, jet-skiing and speedboating you have the hugely popular Aqualand where people from Turkey and abroad enjoy the sport of swimming with Dolphins.
5.Its magnificent swimming pool is a staggering 35metres long, 35 metres of proper swimming depth with three entry points one of which is a wide railed staircase.
6.The staggering mountain views offset the outstanding site facilities which include, a heated indoor pool and leisure suite for the winter months (Nov - April), (including a sauna & Jacuzzi), other facilities included are an astroturfed Tennis Court, Restaurant/Cafeteria with Wi-Fi, Gymnasium, Children’s play area, Children’s Pool, Splash Pool, Pool Bar, Shaded Sunloungers and a totally free shuttle bus.
The bus leaves several times each day and will take you to the supermarket and back, to the bars and restaurants of Kumkoy and Side plus on Mondays it will also take you to the town of Manavgat where on Mondays and Thursdays you will find a huge market.
7.For 2009/10 an additional service called Fizz Beach Service will collect you at 11.30am & drop you at one of the leading tourist beaches where you will find various Turkey holiday water sports and an excellent restaurant. The service will probably include various evening events in the summer (e.g Karaoke nights) for which additional collect and return services will apply. The beach service will return you to Four Seasons later in the day. Finally the extremely attractive gardens are beautifully maintained and with the stunning mountain views while travelling across the complex you feel like you are walking in paradise!
